Logistics, Correspondence & Governmental Clearances Specialist
Key Responsibilities & Job Description: - - Logistics & International Correspondence: Communicate with overseas pharmaceutical and medical manufacturers, evaluate shipping quotes, track logistics operations, and liaise with customs brokers, warehouses, and transport teams until goods safely arrive. - - Governmental Clearances & Regulatory Affairs: Supervise import permits and releases with relevant regulatory bodies (such as the Supreme Board of Drugs & Medical Appliances), manage exceptional approvals for new product categories, and follow up on registration procedures (including Aden requirements). - -Customs & Regulatory Fees: Coordinate import and clearance fees with official authorities, oversee customs procedures, and handle internal financial advance settlements. - - Supplier Relations & Negotiations: Communicate with international suppliers to secure commercial agencies and distributorships, negotiate prices for new product lines, and draft comprehensive import plans. - - Inventory Control & Market Research: Monitor stock levels to execute timely re-orders, conduct local market research for new medical/pharmaceutical items, and align marketing requirements with suppliers. - - Local Operations: Organize required transit permits for company branches and facilitate smooth internal distribution logistics. Requirements & Qualifications: * Language Proficiency: Excellent/Fluent English language skills (both spoken and written) are mandatory for daily professional communication and negotiations with foreign companies and overseas manufacturers. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in logistics, international trade affairs, and handling governmental clearances and regulatory procedures.
