REPUBLIC OF YEMEN Ministry of Water and Environment Urban Water Supply & Sanitation Project - Project Management Unit (UWSSP-PMU) Fourth Round of EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) for LOCAL INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANTS Ministry of Water and Environment Through the project management unit (PMU - Aden) intend to invite local qualified individual consultants for Conducting consultancy services related to WASH Activities such as conducting Assessment, Preparing Technical Studies and Detailed Designs, tender documents for Construction and Rehabilitation of Water and Sanitation Systems, pumping water/sanitation by solar pumping energy systems, water desalination plants etc. UWSSP-PMU desired to update and extend its list of qualified consultants in various engineering and fields and maintain a pool of pre-qualified panel of local individual s consultants in wide areas of expertise. This pool would be utilized for consultancies, studies, surveys, assessment, specialized assignments, designing, etc. The pool of individual consultants would be readily available on short- & long-term basis upon arising needs of UWSSP-PMU. Consultancy and advisory services are required in the following major areas: - Conducting need Assessments, Risk Assessments, stakeholders management plan, and ESMP for construction or/ and rehabilitation of water and sanitation systems, water Resources, Modern irrigation systems, renewable energy and water desalination plants in urban and peri-urban areas. - Conducting Technical studies including feasibility studies, detail designs, specifications, Bill of quantities and other tender documents for Civil works, mechanical works, electrical works of construction or/ and rehabilitation of water and sanitation systems, Water resources, drilling and development deep water wells, and Irrigation systems in urban and peri-urban areas. - Conducting Technical studies including feasibility studies, detail designs, specifications, Bill of quantities and other tender documents for construction Solar energy stations and PV diesel Systems to operate water and sanitation systems in urban and peri-urban areas - Conducting Technical studies including feasibility studies, detail designs, specifications, Bill of quantities and other tender documents for construction Water desalination plants and in urban and peri-urban areas - Construction supervision of water and sanitation projects, solar energy systems and water desalination plants. - Supervision of the ESMP and safe guards of civil works projects. - Participating in receiving committees for materials (e.g., pipes, fittings, pumps, etc.) or equipment (e.g., backhoe, Vacuum truck, etc.). - Preparing internal networks or designing some programs for water purposes (Graphics works, developers, etc.) Minimum Requirements: The individual consultant should have: - A minimum of bachelor s degree in civil, or Mechanical, or Electromechanical, Health and Safety Specialist, environmental engineering, social specialist, or microbiology/chemist, and IT/designer Or Equivalent. - A minimum of Five Years General Experiences After Graduation. - A minimum of Five projects in a similar assignment especially in each required engineering fields. - A minimum of 3 projects with international organizations, UN agencies and government authorities (e.g.; SFD, PWP, UNICEF, UNOPS, UNDP etc.) or Water and sanitation government sectors. - Good Command of English and Arabic language. - Good Command of Computer skills and Engineering programs.

Pre-qualification Submission Requirements The pre-qualification shall be in compliance with the below mentioned requirements: a. Submission your CV, b. A copy of academic certificates, c. A copy of signed contracts with international organizations, UN agencies, and Water and sanitation government sectors (E.G; SFD, PWP, UNICEF, UNOPS, UNDP etc.) (Form 6A 3) d. A copy of Valid ID card. e. A copy of your previous works (e.g., tender document, or study, or assessment, or report, or design drawings) in English Language. f. Mention your current residence in Yemen, (in your C.V) g. Description of similar assignments, (Form 6B) h. General Experience of the Consultant (Years of Experience after graduation) (Form 6C), i.
