Duty Station: 7-month contract, with possible extension- Sana a-Yemen Application Deadline: 7 days Organization Overview A confidential organization is recruiting a Senior Backend Developer, a Flutter Developer, and a Frontend Web Developer for a digital financing and marketplace platform. The roles support customer transactions, supplier and logistics functions, and banking and administration portals. 1. Backend Developer Java Spring Boot / ASP.NET Core You will design and develop the core backend services and APIs powering the platform's web and mobile applications. Responsibilities - Develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Java Spring Boot or ASP.NET Core - Design database schemas and develop efficient, reliable SQL queries - Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth 2.0, and RBAC - Integrate with core banking systems, internal platforms, and third-party services - Implement security best practices including: - Input validation - Audit logging - Encryption - Secure customer-data handling - Write unit and integration tests - Document APIs using OpenAPI / Swagger - Participate in code reviews and technical discussions - Follow clean-code, maintainability, and software engineering best practices Requirements - 3+ years of backend development experience - Strong experience with Java Spring Boot or ASP.NET Core - Solid knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL - Experience with ORM technologies such as JPA/Hibernate or Entity Framework - Strong understanding of REST API design and API security - Experience with Git and Docker - Good understanding of software architecture and backend development practices Preferable - Experience in banking, fintech, payments, or digital financial services - Experience integrating with core banking systems - Familiarity with Redis, message queues, and asynchronous processing - Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
